Getting started
Set up Tremora
- 1
Install both apps
Install Tremora on your iPhone and its companion app on your paired Apple Watch.
- 2
Start monitoring on Watch
Open Tremora on Apple Watch, read the data-use introduction, and start or renew the 24-hour monitoring period.
- 3
Allow Apple access
Respond to Apple’s Movement Disorder permission prompts. Availability and result generation are controlled by Apple.
- 4
Optional sleep access
On iPhone, allow Tremora to read Sleep from Apple Health if you want sleep information included. This permission can be declined or revoked.
- 5
Open Tremora on iPhone
When the iPhone app becomes active, it requests available Watch measurements and shows the actual request state.
Dashboard
Understand the current day
Movement summary
Shows available tremor and dyskinesia measurements, totals, and means.
Result data
Shows how much monitored result time is available for the current day.
Coverage
Indicates how much of the elapsed day has qualifying movement-result information.
Synchronization
Distinguishes queued, updating, receiving, completed, and current states.
Last Night’s Sleep
Shows the most recent recorded sleep duration and, for complete records, Tremora-derived continuity.
Apple controls background processing. A queued request is not a failure, and missing information is never treated as zero symptoms.
Sleep
Read Sleep by Date
Recorded duration
Each bar shows recorded hours asleep for the morning the main sleep session ended.
Complete and limited records
Blue marks a complete record. Gray marks a short or incomplete record—not poor sleep.
Touch for values
Touch a visible bar to display its date, duration, and continuity directly on the chart.
Continuity
Continuity is Tremora’s calculation of asleep time divided by asleep plus awake time. It is not rated for incomplete records and is not an Apple sleep score or diagnosis.
Apple Watch
Maintain the monitoring period
Open the Tremora Watch app to confirm that monitoring is active. Use Start 24-Hour Monitoring or Renew 24 Hours when needed. Tremora schedules supported background work, but watchOS decides when it runs.
Reports
Explore patterns with context
24-Hour Profile
Summarizes movement measurements by hour across a selected range.
Time-of-Day Pattern
Highlights typical higher and lower measurements when enough monitored information exists.
Monthly Comparison
Compares qualifying calendar-month profiles over a full day.
Daily Trend
Shows daily totals and, only with adequate coverage, an overall neutral movement-data direction.
Current Day
Shows today’s hourly values and missing-data context.
Exports
Create files when you need them
Use the share control in Reports to prepare an appointment PDF, an Excel workbook, CSV data, or a JPG chart. When permitted sleep information is available, supported reports and data exports can include sleep duration and continuity. Files leave Tremora only when you choose a destination.
iPad reporting
Copy a report snapshot nearby
- 1
On iPad
Open Settings → Receive Report Copy from iPhone and note the six-digit code.
- 2
On iPhone
Open Settings → Copy Reports to iPad, choose the iPad, enter the six-digit code, and choose Send.
- 3
Keep both apps open
Keep the devices nearby until both report completion and the transferred sample count.
The devices do not need to join the same Wi-Fi network. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Local Network permission must remain available.
Important limitation
Movement data for discussion
Tremora summarizes information made available by Apple Watch. It does not diagnose a condition, explain a cause, predict health changes, recommend treatment, or replace a clinician’s advice. Do not use Tremora for urgent symptoms or medication decisions.
